This two-player game is one of the oldest board games in human history, with the objective of being the first player to bear all pawns off the board. The game is played on a 3x10 board, with each player starting with five pawns on the board. Pawns can jump over other pawns and players can exchange positions by cutting their opponent's pawns. There are special houses on the board that are safe and pawns on these houses cannot be cut. Two or more connecting pawns are safe and cannot be cut, while three or more connecting pawns create a blockade that cannot be jumped over by the opponent.
